**Plates are freeform and measure between 5.5" width x 4.5" length on either side, 1/8" thickness.

"Nerikomi" refers to the delicate, measured, and time-consuming process of creating patterns from colored clay. The patterns appear when the patterned clay block is sliced, much like taking cross sections of a cake.
